Sister M. Florence Krauchunas

Sister M. Florence Krauchunas, SSC, 93, died Sunday, May 8, 2011. Sister, a native of Chicago, IL, served as an elementary school teacher and later as a nurse serving at Holy Cross Hospital and Loretto Hospital, Chicago. Sister is survived by her sister Valeria (Edward) Kasarskis of Frankfort, IL; nephews: Dr. Edward (Mary) Kasarskis and Robert (Marion) Kasarskis; nieces: Kathryn (Terry) Utz and Rita (Shamsher) Singh; and grand-nephews and grand-nieces. Sister Florence's parents, Andrew and Anna, and her sisters, Sister M. Annuciata, SSJ and Sister M. Dilecta, SSC, preceded Sister in death. Wake at the Sisters of St. Casimir Motherhouse, 2601 W. Marquette Rd., Friday May 13, 2011 from 3 to 7 p.m., followed by Vespers. Funeral Mass Saturday, May 14 at 9:30 a.m. in the Motherhouse Chapel, followed by interment at St. Casimir Cemetery.
