Kimberly McCabe Obituary

Kimberly Ann McCabe, age 53, of Naperville, IL and formerly of Milan, IL and Springfield, IL. Passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011 at home surrounded by family from complications from colorectal cancer dealing with the disease for more than six years. Born Dec. 30, 1957 in Rock Island, IL. Survived by her husband, Terrence D. McCabe; two sons, Adam and Taylor McCabe; her mother, Norma Stamm; sister Paula (Randy) Carlson; brothers, Christopher (Linda) Smith, Steve (Janet) Smith, Brian Smith, Craig Smith and Eric (Eva) Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father, Marcellin L. Smith. Kimberly was Vice-President of Compensation and Benefits for Navteq having worked for Navteq for over ten years. Prior to that she was a long-time employee of Arthur Anderson & Co. In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge, 411 Second Street Northwest, Rochester, MN 55901-2814 associated with Mayo Clinic (memo Kimberly A. McCabe) or Northwestern University/Dr. Mary Mulcahy's Cancer Research Fund, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Attn: June Ulrey, Office of Development, 420 E.
