Mr. Van Dyke was such a nice man. He always opened the door and bought a boy scout wreath from one of my sons. We are very sorry to hear of his passing. We will keep your family & Mr. Van Dyke in our prayers.

Carol,
Just the other day, you happen to be walking your grandson when we met and exchanged neighborly greetings. You shared some of your vast knowledge of gardening. You told me about your dad and that you were going to be with him for a few days.
We learned that your dad passed away and we want to extend our deepest condolences to you and your family. We want you to know that we will remember him in our thoughts and our prayers.
Your dad was quite a guy and left you and your family
a legacy of courage, bravery and sacrifice on behalf of his
country and his fellow man. His noble deeds are a gift
to all of us, to be treasured and remembered.
We extend our hand to you and your family and offer any help that you may need at this time.
May God bless you and your family.
