Margaret Dorf, nee Odes, 97, beloved wife of the late Frank Dorf; devoted mother of Dorothy (Mark) Girouard, Dr. Arthur (Julie) Dorf, Roberta (Denis) Bohm and Michael Dorf (Maury Collins); loving grandmother of Blanche Girouard (Georg Phillip), Ari Dorf, Jordan (Bernadette) Dorf, Jason (Elana) Frank, Matthew Frank, Katherine (Victor) Walczak and John Dorf; great-grandmother of Alexa and Kaden; dear sister of Rabbi Reuben (Ella) Odes and the late Pauline Odes and Benjamin Odes; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services Wednesday, 11:30 a.m. at Waldheim Cemetery, Gate 80, 1/4 mile west of Desplaines Ave. on Roosevelt Rd., Forest Park. My sincere condolences to the the Dorf family,
You do not know me, but my mother, Ruth Friedson would push baby carriages around Humbolt Park with Margaret and were very good friends. She was not only good friends with Margaret, but Pauline as well. It is wonderful to see that she led such a long life. Reading the obit, just reminded me of times with my mother. My sorrow goes out to the family. Annette Bloom
