DRAGOSLAV ILIC

Dragoslav Ilic, age 80, of Joliet since 2005, and formerly of Berkeley, IL, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at home surrounded by his devoted family. Dragoslav worked as a tool and die maker for Tool & Engineering Company, Chicago, from his first day in this country in 1968 until retiring in 1993. He was a loving husband, a caring father, and a wonderful grandfather and great-grandfather. Survived by his beloved wife, Gordana (nee Zivadinovic) Ilic; his children, Zoran Ilic and family in Serbia, Dejan Ilic of Addison, and Aleksandra (Richard) Kania of Plainfield, and their children, Aleksandar and Olivia; and his daughter-in-law, Maria Ilic of North Riverside, and her son, Eric (Jennifer) Ilic of Carol Stream. Preceded in death by his son, Radovan Ilic, and his parents, Radovan and Ljubica (nee Cezan) Ilic. Funeral services for Dragoslav Ilic will be Friday, June 3, 2011 at 1 p.m. at New Grachanitsa Serbian Monastery Cemetery, 35240 N. Grant St., Third Lake, IL where burial will follow.
