Skip had a very special relationship with his son John. They worked hand in hand to become a great car racing team. They won several trophies and were well liked by the other drivers, and especially by their families. We miss you Skip, but God needed someone like you in his pit crew. R.I.P.

I will miss my dad more each day that passes. He was not only my father, but also my best friend. We had a hobby that we were able to share together for 19 years in racing. Growing up as a child I loved hanging out with my dad at the trucking company that he worked at as a diesel mechanic, which is also where I developed my love of trucks. I love you and miss you dad, but you'll always be here with me.
