Beloved husband of the late Patricia, nee O'Halloran; loving father of Raymond (Wini), William (Linda) John (Kathy); cherished grandfather of Michael, Patrick, Julie, James, Anne, Katherine, Thomas and Steven; great-grandfather of 10; dear brother of Irene (Bert) Johanson, Elizabeth (the late Robert) Bentley, Phillip (Jane), the late Virginia (the late Lawrence) Anich and Walter (the late Marge); also nieces and nephews. Funeral Friday, 9:15 a.m. from Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery. To John Trapp-from Tom Calandriello: John, my mother called to make me aware of your Dad's passing. I was just remembering this past Memorial Day how your Dad tool us all to see John Wayne in the Longest Day at the Beverly theater on your bithday , June 6th. I'll always be grateful to your mom and dad that they chose to move to St. Ethelreda in the '50s and just down the street from our house on Paulina Street all those years ago. We are going to miss your Dad so much in Michigan-it will not be the same. Your Dad was a kind & wonderful man, we enjoyed every min. we spent with him. He was truly like a Grandpa to Sean, Katie & Brendan. We all loved him so much.
