I know these condolences are very late, but I didn't know about Lil's passing. My Dad told me that her house had been torn down, and I lived across the street from her for years. It appears that she died the week that I moved. "Auntie Lil" was a good friend, and I will always remember her for the kindness and love she showed our dog, Copper. She and Copper became rather an institution in the neighborhood, and we were very lucky to have her help. Copper adored her, and vise versa! Lil was also a family friend of my parents, and it was great knowing her. I'm sorry for your loss, but I remember her fondly. Copper passed on before she did, I hope they're taking long walks together again!
