It was hard to endure the illness that he had for so long. But he is feeling healthy and peaceful in the better place where he now is - and surely experiencing far greater happiness than any one of us who are still in this earthly world. That is his reward for being such a decent person.

Bob was a good man. It is sad that so many years of his life were taken from him by his illness. He was a strong man as well. It's amazing that he lived so long under such serious health conditions. He did what he could to survive, all that could be asked of anyone. That surely kept him going several years longer than one might expect. He was also a smart man with a mind that enabled him to carry on with his life. His decent nature, strength, and intelligence have been passed down to his two sons and may they continue these qualities in their own ways.
