SALLY COHN Obituary
Sally Cohn, nee Pols, 77, beloved wife of Elliott Black, passed away peacefully, Sunday, June 5, 2011, in Ashville, NC. Devoted mother of Shelley (Ken) Levine, Brad (Mari), Lorry (Jennifer) and Lisa Cohn; proud grandmother of Adam, Seth, Carrie, Stephanie, Molly and Sam; dear sister of Evelyn Boxenbaum. Sally is a native Chicagoan, and will always be remembered for her love of the arts, her involvement in civil rights and her optimistic outlook on life. Memorial services Monday, 3 p.m., at THE PISER CHAPEL, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd. (at Church St.), Skokie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sally's name to Four Seasons Elizabeth House, 581 S. I am sorry I missed Sally's wake. I would have liked to have paid my respects to her family. She was such a wonderful and well-liked classy lady. I worked with Sally at Clausen Miller and worked next to her for several years. She was ALWAYS sweet and kind and caring. I really enjoyed her company. May she rest in peace and her family keep her memories alive so that they may bring them comfort.

Eliott, We remember Sally from when you lived next door to us on Windsor Lane. She always had a smile on her face and was a lovely person who loved eating mandelbrodt. I will make a batch in her memory.
