We did not have the privilege of knowing Marilyn, but her very caring daughter, Jodie, shows she was a mother who left a legacy of love. We know she is greatly missed. Praying the LORD comforts you all with His presence and love.

My condolences to the entire Collins family. I enjoyed talking to Mrs. Collins about a wide variety of subjects. Her wisdom and sense of humor was very much appreciated. She inspired me and many others to always try and do your best. She will be missed but after reading Heaven is Real by Don Piper, I know she is in a better place. Sorry that I did not attend her memorial service. I just heard of her transition last night. May God bless in this time of loss and grant you his peace.

Mrs. Collins was one of my favorite people to have the opportunity to get to know at Olympia Fields Country Club. A true lover of tennis, she inspired me to one day make it to all four grand slam tournaments (something she did in her lifetime). Thank you for all the nice hours i got to spend with you on the clay courts!

My sympathy to the Marilyn's family. I went to school in Staunton, Illinois with Marilyn, St Michael's Grade School and Staunton High School, graduating in 1955. We had so much fun playing school in her family garage on 6th St.

I had the great opportunity to enjoy Marilyn's company through my cousin Ellen B.. Marilyn was always considerate of others and she has a great sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the Collins family: My brother, Steve Baker, and I fondly remember Marilyn as a good neighbor and friend to our mother when we were growing up in Hazel Crest. Marilyn was a lovely lady, a well-respected teacher at St. Anne's School, and--I might add--a great cook. Condolences to you, Harold, and to your children.
