This morning I attended a Mass in your honor dear Jimmy. I feel so good today because one year has passed and I am still here. You are always in my heart. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have a support system. I accept what I cannot change and I know that God is watching over your sons and syblings. Lovingly your mother

Dear Jimmy, I cannot stop thinking about you, your father Tom and my parents and all of your grandparents. Uncle Wally Osterkorn died January 11, 2012 as the result of Altsheimers. I am truly very sad and coping even tho I still can't cook as good as you did. The boys call and I try not to nudge them cause you know the way kids think. Please ask the dear Lord to help me stay well. I cherish your memory. Lovingly Mother

Not a day will pass without my thanks for having you, Jimmy, as a son. You are happy and at peace. When I looked at your beautiful face and sweet smile I knew you were with God. I will always hear what you said the night before you died, "I love you, Mom and thanks for the rosary." After Father Mulcrone annointed you he gave me the rosary that you had and a picture of your father. I miss you dear son. I will always think of you when the lilac tree blooms. You planted it for my eightieth birthday hoping that I would see it blossom. You never thought that I would be here without you. All my love, all my life, Mom.

Mrs.Ahlfeld & Family
My deepest condolences go out you, I am so sorry for your loss. I found a poem that made me think of Jimmy.
Many people will walk in and out of your life, But only true friends will leave footprints on your heart.
To handle yourself, use your head;
To handle others, use your heart.
Anger is only one letter short of danger. If someone betrays you twice, it is your fault.
Great minds discuss events;
Small minds discuss people.
He who loses money, loses much;
He who loses a friend, loses much more;
He who loses faith, loses all.
Beautiful old people are works of art.
Learn from the mistakes of others
You can't live long enough to make them all yourself.Friends, you and me ... You brought another friend ... and we started our group ... our circle of friends ... and like a circle ... there is no beginning or end ... Yesterday is history.Tomorrow is mystery. Today is a gift.
-Unknown
He left footprints on my heart and on the hearts of many others and will be missed very much. Mrs. Ahlfeld and family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

The memories of Jimmy are huge and I can't express my condolences to the family enough. Jimmy got me my first job at Wrigley Field and those many 5:30AM bus rides to work were wonderful moments. His wallet was always full of more stuff than mine and the guy would run through a brick wall if he had to for a friend. He was always smiling and when I had a good joke or impression going, he'd want me to constantly repeat it for others to hear. He was a fun guy and my heart goes out to the entire family as Chicago lost a really great human being, and I a very loyal friend. My regret is that I failed to keep in contact with him despite the modes of communication that are available to us these days. Thank You Jimmy for all those moments when you put a friend in front of your own needs and RIP old buddy....one day at a time.

Danny (and Family):
I'm so sorry to hear about Jimmy. I know how hard it is to lose a brother.
Danny, you were so good to our brother Joe and my family. We really appreciate that you were there for us when our brother died. I will pray to my brother and ask him to help your brother cross over into the light and love of the spirit world. Jimmy will also be greeted by other loved ones who have passed before him.
I know that our brothers are not dead. Their spirits are still very much alive. They have been transformed into beautiful beings of light! I will ask brother Joe to be there when Jimmy arrives.
Keep the Faith. Jimmy is still with you. Just close your eyes and open your heart. You will feel him there.
Love, Cindy Britton and Family
