Lisa,
I am very sorry to learn of your mothers' passing at this late date. Your mother, uncles and I grew up together. My mother and your grandmother were very good friends. Over the years I lost touch with the family but have always held deep affection for all in my heart. Your poetry to your mom is just beautiful, she shall never be forgotten. (I'll never forget your grandmothers chocolate chip cookies either!) Please pass on my best to Bruce and Rick.

JJ and Lisa,
I was a friend of Sheila's at the bank. I just asked someone how Sheila was doing and got the sad news. My husband, Jeff, and I send our sincere condolences.
Many times Sheila and I worked with each other over the phone on bank conversions. One day at "Emil's" someone who knew we had never met face-to-face made Sheila talk and immediately I knew it was her. It was great to finally meet her. She even advised me to "ask for the moon" and now I am still working for the bank but telecommuting from Arizona.
She was great! What a laugh and smile. She will always be with you. Hope you find some comfort in that.

J.J. - Jay and I send our heartfelt sympathy to you and to the entire Bittenbinder family. There really are no words to express our sorrow and sadness upon learning the news of Sheila's passing. We will remember her always as a beautiful woman with a generous, loving spirit, great laugh and incredible smile. Gone way too soon, she will be missed. And to you my friend, a very wise and spiritual man recently said to me, "Just love 'em, because in the end...LOVE...is all we really need." I know Sheila was surrounded by you and many others who loved her. I trust that is all she really needed. Our prayers are with you J.J. Love, Cheryl and Jay

Dearest John Joseph,
Our warmest love, our deepest sadness. The ride in the pickup. The girls had to approve. Bon fires, split pea soup and home baked bread. I will make the Chocolate Éclairs this year. Sheila would like that.
Love,

I have known Shelia for many years. I have never met someone who smiled so much. She was so happy with her life. She adored her daughter Lisa, and husband JJ. She was very loving and always had wisdom to give. Her presence alone made you happy. She will be missed so much. My prayers go out to her daughter and husband. She will never be forgotten.
