Eleanor Mae Biggs, 79, of Noxen, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016, at the Celtic Hospice Inpatient Unit at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late George and Pauline Donnelly Snell.
In addition to her parents, Ellie was preceded in death by her daughter, Rita; sons, Charles, Theodore and Thomas; sisters, Pauline and Joan; and by her brothers, George and David.
Surviving are her loving husband, Theodore, Noxen; children, Ellie Denman, Larksville; Deborah Homan, Leesport; Timothy Biggs, Pittsburgh; Marion Meade, Luzerne; David Biggs, Millville; and Ty Biggs, Noxen; 30 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth; brothers, James and Ralph; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home Inc., 140 N. Main St., Shavertown. The Rev. Deborah Rose, pastor of Dorranceton United Methodist Church, will officiate. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
