I was saddened to hear of of Annette's passing. I met her 25 years ago as a new official in the area for Volleyball. We talked about the sport and worked together.
When she found out my job, Vocational Educator, we would talk education and shop. She would talk about different projects that she wanted to build and ask advise of me. I would tease her and continue to suggest advise to her. The Volleyball chapter officials were just about mentioning her name at last weeks meeting. She will greatly missed.

It is hard to believe Ms. Barbini is gone! She was so much a part of life at LFM and STR. She was quiet, independent and engaged. I extend my deepest sympathy to family and friends.

Miss Barbini was a wonderful teacher. I would like to share something that happened when I was in intramurals and my class was playing a "championship" basketball game. The score was tied, I threw the ball, and it went into the basket - only it was the other team's basket! Sigh. Miss Barbini said that the points would go for the other team. They won. I was sad, but I learned a very valuable lesson - don't get "turned around" and accept your mistakes. I am so grateful for that lesson, one that I have never forgotten.

Annette was a great teacher, coach and mentor. I had her as my gym teacher at GAR and as my Coach for basketball while at the school. She truly loved to work with us and in doing so she had so much fun. My God bless her and keep her in his hands. My prayers and thoughts are with her family. Rest in Peace Annette. You will be missed by many.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
