Wilfred H. Coopey of Pittston Township passed away Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, at the Celtic Hospice Inpatient Unit, Wilkes-Barre.
Born Aug. 14, 1943, in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Wilfred J. and Molly (Lemke) Coopey.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Bernadine (Colarusso) Coopey; daughter, Carloyn and husband, Anthony Worrall, Palmyra; son, Wilfred A. (Billy) and wife, Melissa Coopey, Harding; grandchildren, Alexa, Lucas, Lacey Worrall and William Coopey; brothers, Kenneth and wife, Bonnie Coopey, and Allan Coopey; sister, Marjorie and husband, Carl Hashagen; mother-in-law, Theda Colarusso; and sister-in-law, Eleanor Magowan. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Wilfred was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Violet Coopey.
Funeral services are in the care of Graziano Funeral Home Inc., Pittston Township. All services will be private and held at the family's convenience.
