David P. Antonik, 59, of Wanamie, passed away Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.
David was born in Nanticoke on Dec. 5, 1956. He is the son of the former Dolores Vance and the late Paul Antonik.
David attended the John S. Fine High School in Nanticoke and was employed in the maintenance department by Luzerne County Community College for 30 years. He retired in 2002.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
David was preceded in death by his father, Paul Antonik; sister, Deborah Antonik; and wife, Deborah Wiatrowski Antonik.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, Dolores, are his wife, Lisa Antonik; daughter, Julie Antonik; son, Lee Antonik; grandchildren, Julianna, Abigail and Angel; and sister, Paula Zannetti and her husband, Joseph. Three nephews also survive.
A Blessing service for David will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wanamie. Friends are in invited to attend.
George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., Glen Lyon, is handling the arrangements.
