Michael Kostin, 27, of Mountain Top, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, in Pittsburgh.
Born in Kazakhstan, he was the son of Alex and Yelena Kostin of Mountain Top. Michael graduated from Crestwood High School, Luzerne County Community College and East Stroudsburg University and was currently in his final year of dental school at the University of Pittsburgh.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his grandparents, Vasiliy and Raisa Kostin; a brother, Andrew; and sisters, Catherine and Anastasia. Several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral services Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. at McCune Funeral Home, 80 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top. Interment will follow in Albert Cemetery.

My sympathies to all of you on Michaels passing. I worked with him at the dental school He was always kind and respectful and always had a smile. He will be missed very much by all of us.
