Sara N. Gray, 98, of Dallas, peacefully passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at The Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas.
Born in Luzerne, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Snyder Neave and was a graduate of Luzerne High School and Wyoming Seminary Dean School of Business.
Sara was a banking officer with PNC Bank. She was also affiliated with Liberty Throwing Co., Kingston, in her early years.
She was a member of the Wyoming Avenue Christian Church, where she sang in the church choir.
Sara lived a life of dignity and grace and was to all who knew her the epitome of a true lady.
Sara was preceded in death by her husband, William Gray, and a brother, Charles Neave.
As per Sara's wishes, a modest graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Cemetery, Dallas, with the Rev. Dennis Gray, pastor, of Wyoming Avenue Christian Church, officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas.

Sara was the last of my father's family. My grandfather Sterling Hendershot was her half brother. I had just recently found out she was at the Meadows. I wish I was able to know her better. I only heard wonderful things about her. She was a beautiful woman in her pictures! I must have met her when I was a child but don't remember. It's so good to know she had so many wonderful people in her life.
