Shirley Mae Boback, 74, of Courtdale, passed away Monday, Jan. 16, 2017. She was the widow of John Boback.
Shirley was born in Edwardsville on May 8, 1942. She was the daughter of the late James Ruston and Shirley Thomas Davis. She was a wonderful homemaker.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Anne Reed, and her brother, Arthur Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Green Street Baptist Chapel, 25 Green St., Edwardsville, with the Rev. David Miklas, pastor, officiating.
Interment will follow at 10 a.m. Monday in Memorial Shrine Park, Wyoming.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Edwards and Russin Funeral Home, Edwardsville.
