Pasquale Ciccone, 88, of Wyoming, passed away Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, in Compassionate Care Hospice at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in San Ferdinando, Reggio Calabria, Italy, on Aug. 19, 1928, he was a son of the late Vincenzo and Catherine Barbalace Ciccone.
He was a member of St. Barbara Church, Exeter.
Pasquale enjoyed reading, watching World Wide Wrestling and traveling with his wife, Dora, throughout the United States and Italy.
He was a master tailor and was employed by The Hub, Wilkes-Barre, Sampters and Kranson's Clothing. Prior to his retirement he owned and operated Ciccone Tailor Shop, Pittston.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Zucaro, and brother, Joseph Ciccone.
He is survived by his son, Vincent Ciccone and wife, Maria, Wyoming; granddaughter, Carla-Ciccone Stevens; two great-grandchildren: Lily and Marcus Stevens; and nieces and nephews in Italy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Barbara Parish, in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter. The Rev. Michael Finn will be the celebrant. Those attending the Mass are asked to go directly to the church.
Friends may call at Howell-Lussi Funeral Home, 509 Wyoming Ave., West Pittston, from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the St. Barbara Social Concern and Outreach Committee, 224 Memorial St., Exeter, PA 18643.
Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
