Brian C. Gregory, 59, of McCarragher Street in the Rolling Mill Hill section of the city, entered into eternal life unexpectedly early Monday morning, April 24, 2017, at the family residence.
Born Sept. 7, 1957, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son to the late Jack and Roxie (Hartman) Gregory. His family relocated to the Back Mountain area after the devastation of Hurricane Agnes in 1972, where he was a graduate of Dallas High School. He furthered his education by taking several courses at King's College in Wilkes-Barre.
Prior to his retirement in April 2016, Brian worked as an electrical technician for the Tobyhanna Army Depot. Previously, he worked for Grumman Manufacturing of Scranton.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Lonnie Hughes; a brother, Jack E. Gregory; brother-in-law, Samuel Curcio; and nephew, Nicholas Curcio.
Left to mourn his passing are his sister, Mrs. Lynn E. Curcio and her son, Christopher, with whom Brian resided; sister-in-law, Mrs. Joann Brague and her husband, Foster, Plains Twp.; and several nieces and nephews.
Per Brian's request, funeral arrangements will be private at his family's convenience from the Wilkes-Barre Heights location of John V. Morris Family Funeral Homes Inc., 281 E. Northampton St. There will be no public calling hours.

Brian took pride in his work and only wanted the best for our soldiers and Marines. Brian was our teacher and friend. He will be missed but with the upmost and highest honor. I am privileged to have known him and to call him, friend. Rest in Peace, my friend.

Sorry for your loss. Brian was a good friend since 1990 during our time together at Grumman and Tobyhanna. We sure had some good times at work and traveling. He will be missed.
