Heaven gained a most beautiful angel. But this Angel already had her wings right here on Earth. Being a friend to Rita is truly a great honor. I was hired as a caregiver for her but soon became best friends with her. She was without a doubt the nicest person I ever met in my entire life. She was kind considerate caring compassionate and very comical. Being with Rita on a daily basis was not like a job but more like visiting a friend everyday. Her possessions were there to share with anyone of her friends or family who needed them. There is nothing she would not have given or lent to me if I just mentioned I needed it.
Rita was one of a kind. When I could no longer help her because of my own health problems she never forgot about me. She called me on a daily basis for a long time. I will always miss her and I am so thankful that I got to know her. She was so special to me, my daughter Maria, and my granddaughter Kiersten with whom she had a special relationship. We loved Rita.
