John D. Clarke Jr., 32, of Old Forge, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 17, 2017.
Born in Toms River, N.J., on July 7, 1985, he was the son of Susan Papp Clarke and the late John D. Clarke Sr.
He was a graduate of Brick Township High School in Brick, N.J., and had worked as a chef in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania for more than 10 years. Most recently he became a commercial truck driver and was enjoying traveling around the country.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Tiffany Clarke and her husband, Greg Insalaco, Yatesville; and a niece, Emily.
Friends and relatives may call to celebrate John's life from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, with a blessing service at 7 p.m. at Adonizio Funeral Home LLC, 251 William St., Pittston.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge, 974 Lockville Road, Dallas, PA 18612.
