Eleanor Krupinski Obituary

Eleanor Krupinski (Kopinsky), 92, of Exeter, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017, at The Meadows in Scranton.

Born Nov. 16, 1924, in Exeter, Eleanor was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Cendroski Krupinski.

Eleanor was a graduate of Wyoming High School, Class of 1943 and a graduate of Empire Beauty Academy. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Exeter, until its closing, and then she became a member of St. Barbara's Parish in Exeter.

Prior to retiring, Eleanor was employed by Consolidated Cigar Factory in West Pittston for 23 years and later was employed by Wilkes-Barre General Hospital in environmental services for 15 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Alberta Strungis and her brother, Joseph.

Eleanor was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt, who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her nephew, Robert Strungis, Exeter; and her great-nephew, Robert Strungis, Mountain Top.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday from Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, of St. Barbara's Parish, in Exeter. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Cedar Street, Exeter.

Family and friends may call from 8:30 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
