Robert Gashi Obituary

Robert F. Gashi, 87, of Wyoming, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, in the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Plains Twp.

His beloved wife is Agnes Perconte Gashi. Together, Bob and Agnes celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past June.

Born in West Wyoming on March 4, 1933, Bob was the son of the late Frank and Mary Gashi.

Bob proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church, in Carverton.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a reputable plasterman for many years.

Bob was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and he especially loved trapping with his son, Robert.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph; his sister, Joanna; and most recently by his daughter, Donna Marie Gashi.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, Agnes; Bob, is survived by his son, Robert Forrest and his wife, Kim, Tunkhannock.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be held in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
