Bill "Hillbilly Willy" Dunbar, 52, of Harveys Lake, passed away Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020, at home, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Kingston on June 17, 1968, and was the son of Paul Sr. and Shirley Mae Dunbar.
Bill was in the Army National Guard and was a handyman and landscaper for many years with several companies. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his grandkids very much.
He was preceded in death by brother, Paul Dunbar; grandparents, Earl and Gertrude Dunbar; and William Jennings and Mildred Philips.
In addition to his parents, Bill is survived by his wife, Leslie Newell; daughters, Maurisa Hallock and her husband, Larry; and Dezare Dunbar; sister, Paula Lutinski and her husband, Chris; grandsons, Larry and Hunter Hallock; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home Inc., state Routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
