Christine Guszak Obituary
Christine Guszak, 73, of Wapwallopen, passed away in the loving arms of our Lord on Saturday, July 30, 2022.
She was born in Nanticoke on April 20, 1949, to the late Leonard and Dorothy Pavelitz.
Christine was a caring woman who always put others before herself. Her kindness and joy were contagious to everyone around her.
Christine was an amazing mother, wife, grandmother, daughter and sister. She loved her family more than all else and lived every day to enjoy all the small moments in life.
She enjoyed camping at Hidden Lake with her family and friends, watching her grandsons play football, fishing, gardening, playing cards, going to the casino and sitting with her friends and family around the campfire.
Christine is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, John H. Guszak; loving daughter, Doreen Guszak, at home; adored son, John P. Guszak and wife, Lisa Pristas, Wapwallopen; three grandsons who were the light of her life, John, Jadon and Joshua Guszak; sister, Bernadine Pavelitz Roskowski and husband, Ronald, Wilkes-Barre; brother, Walter Pavelitz and wife, Reine Savarese, Nanticoke; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be forever missed by friends and especially her family who loved her beyond words.
Funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday from Earl W. Lohman Funeral Home Inc., 14 W. Green St., Nanticoke. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until service time.
