Ronald Paul Bachman Sr., 82, of Upper Askam, passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, at Birchwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Nanticoke.
He was born in Thornhurst on Aug. 15, 1941, the son of the late Arlie and Caroline Keiper Bachman. He attended Moscow High School. He worked in various industries during his lifetime, retiring from Certech Inc., Hanover Twp., in 2006.
Ronald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, entertainment wrestling and working on small engines and automobiles.
Preceding him in death were brothers, Delbert and Arlie Bachman Jr.; and sister, Dolores Lobb.
Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Josephine Dombroski Bachman; sons, Ronald Paul Bachman Jr., Laceyville; Michael Bachman (Stephanie), Houston, Texas; and Robert John Bachman (Denise), Plains Twp.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and twin brother, Donald Bachman. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Blessing Service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at George A Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 105 N. Main St., Ashley, with the Rev. Vincent Dang officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of service. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

So Sorry... I will miss your dad dearly. I´ll never forget all the times your parents had me over for dinner and then went to church because they knew the hard times I was going through! I will never forget your dad. May God Bless you and your beautiful family
