I've thought of you all often over the past few holidays, how difficult it was for you and thinking that our parents are all together again at the big tavern in the sky. I have such great memories of your mom and still think of her often. All the places she took us, the gifts she handmade with love. I am reminded of her every weekend we spend at our cabin and curl up under the quilt that she made us. Every time my kids eat ginger snaps it reminds me of riding our bikes to their house in Northbrook and hanging out with her. I'm glad to have those constant reminders of time spent with her, all of which will always bring a smile to my face. She was an incredibly person. My only regret is that I wasn't one of her grandkids that got to go on one of those awesome trips! Love, Tracy

My best friend of 65 years. My roommate in nurse's training at Michael Reese - more like a sister. Miss your weekly phone calls. Gust and Mike are there to greet you. Forever in our hearts and prayers.

We were very sorry to learn of the death of your mother. We knew Jean and Gust while we lived in Buffalo Grove. Dorothy worked with Jean in School District 21 and we shared our Christian lives at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Bob you will probably remember Neil with your Sunday school. "Aunt Jean" led a very full and happy life. Her giving nature set an example for the rest of us to follow. She will be missed and always fondly remembered by all who know her. Our deepest sympathies to our cousins and their children on the loss of their mother and grandmother.
