Hannelore Madley Obituary

HAMPTON - Hannelore Madley, 81, of Hampton, Va., passed away on Aug. 11, 2008, in Raleigh, N.C., after a long battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Everette H. Madley, and son, Karl D. Madley.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara and her husband, Ed Hempstead, of Cary, N.C.; her grandson, David, his wife, Sonja; granddaughter, Jennifer Whitley and husband, Avery, of Knightdale, N.C.; six great-grandchildren; her special friend and caregiver, Margie Powers of Hampton, Va.; and numerous other long time friends.
Her family would like to thank Heartland Hospice of Raleigh, N.C., and Dr. Hopkins and his staff at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made in her name to Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund, 333 N. Summit St., P.O. Box 10086, Toledo, OH 43699-0086, or at www.heartlandhospicefund.org.

I met Hannelore at her favorite shopping place, the Langley BX. A wonderful lady, reminds me of my mother.
