Ruby Kirk Obituary
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Willard G. Kirk, and her parents, Jess and Carrie Smith.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry G. and Margaret Kirk and Mark A. and Michelle Kirk; grandchildren, Faith and Anna Kirk; and many nieces and nephews.
Ruby was a native of West Virginia and came to the Peninsula in 1963. She was a longtime member of Pine Chapel Baptist Church.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes, W.Va.

I was very sad to hear of Ruby's passing. I offer my condolences to the Kirk family who had her taken away from them too soon. The Alzheimer's robbed her of what should have been her golden years. It's truly a shame. I hope you all have many happy memories to comfort you during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
