Margaret Schiavone Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - Margaret A. Schiavone of Williamsburg, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008.
She was born Jan. 31, 1930, in Uniontown, Pa.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Anthony A. Schiavone; three children, Stephen and Suzy Schiavone of Greensboro, N.C., Russell Schiavone of Sanford, N.C., and Nancy and Marlon Ross of Toano, Va.; and one grandson, Michael Barnard of Washington, D.C.
She is survived by one brother, William Fiffik of Scarborough, N.Y.; and two sisters, Irene Bickhardt of Williamsburg and Betty Prush of Hudson, Ohio.
She was a 31-year resident of Williamsburg, was active with the American Field Service at Lafayette High School and was a member of St. Bede's Catholic Church.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at Nelsen Funeral Home, Williamsburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
