Margaret Ware Obituary
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Margaret (husband Ted Barton); her son, Edward F. Jr. (wife Frances); sister, Frances Goodrich (husband Jimmy); sister-in-law, Mary Ware Leftwich; grandchildren, Stephen, Andrew and Colleen; step-grandchildren, Diane, Gary and Bonnie; 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at Riverside-Altmeyer Funeral Home, 7415 River Road, Newport News. The funeral will follow at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Peninsula Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to the Wythe Volunteer Fire & Rescue Squads, 1430 Kecoughtan Road, Hampton, VA 23661.

Dear Barton and Ware Families,
Mr. and Mrs. Ware were longtime friends and neighbors who exemplified what "Love thy neighbor as yourself" really means. They were highly respected and loved within our community.
We are sorry that we did not find out about her death until recently, however, she is now with her true love and is looking on us with love and caring.
I was so moved by the strength she showed following Mr. Ware's death and that she continued to show neighbors that she cared about us and our lives.
She will be missed. We always knew that even though she was so sick, she was still with us. Now, God has called her home.
