Donnalyn Fitzgerald Obituary
She was a 1973 graduate of Kecoughtan High School and a 1983 graduate of Riverside Nursing School.
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy White; brothers, William Bailey and Michael Bailey; and sons, Stephen Fitzgerald and Thomas Stewart.
The family will hold a memorial service from 5:30 to 8 p.m. tonight at 1270 Old Buckroe Road, Hampton. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.

Donna and I go way back and then lost touch with each other for several years.I am glad we got reaqainted these past five years.I know her two sons brought the most joy in her life.We will all miss her.

Donnalyn was an adventurous, amazing woman. She was always an inspiration to me and I am very proud to say that I knew her.
The thing I remember most about her is her smile.
One summer day she was standing in the sunlight. When she heard me coming up the driveway, she turned around flashed me a big grin. At that moment, in the way the sun caught her, all sparkles and glowing, she was radiant. As a teenager that was always getting in trouble, not too many people were glad to see me coming, but Donna always smiled at me.
My heart goes out to her family and I pray that during this time of great sadness that they find comfort in the celebration of Donna's life and legacy.

Donna was a funny, warm, and caring woman. I'm delighted to have gotten to know her. She raised one of the best men I've ever met in my life. Her spirit was free and to be touched by it is a blessing I'll never forget. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
