Timothy Lee Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - On Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, God reached out to bring home for eternal rest our beloved Timothy Myron Lee.
His life began on Nov. 9, 1957, the son of Alice Jones Lee and the late Rev. James M. Lee Sr. of York County, Va.
At an early age, he confessed Christ as his Personal Savior and joined St. John Baptist Church on Penniman Road. He proudly served his country and retired from the United States Air Force. He also was the operator of Lee's Lawn Service, and worked with Crossroads and White's Janitorial Services.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories, his mother, Alice Lee; his daughter, Madisson of North Carolina; his sons, Tjai (Theresa) and Sean (Nikala), both of Williamsburg, and Ryan (Shaunta) of South Carolina; his sisters, Margaret Keitt and Beverly Tyler (Kenneth), and his brother, James Lee Jr. (Debra), all of Williamsburg; his uncle, Pete Colley Sr.; his aunts, Catherine Conway, Marion MacBath, Vivian Lee and So Lee; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, in St. John Baptist Church, with the Rev. Walter Hudson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends will assemble by 12:30 p.m. Friday at 108 Lodge Road. Mr. Lee may be viewed from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday (tonight) in St. John Baptist Church.

To Mrs. Lee, Tiny, Pumpkin, and Beverly,

I am at a loss for words and my heart is so heavy. Tim (my Ricky) was my heart. We picked with each other constantly. I can't believe he's longer here with us in body and mind. I will miss him so very very much.
I love you all very much. I have some peace in knowing that Tim is with his father Rev. Lee and God Almighty. I know if he could have stayed with us; then he would have. I am also selfish because I want him here with me and with all of you.

I will miss his big smile. Those dancing green eyes and that sense of humor. No one could ever replace Tim Lee.
I love you my family. And God knows I will miss and love my Ricky.

God Bless you all during this difficult time. We must be strong and be there for one another.

To the Lee Family,
Mrs. Lee, Margaret, Beverly and Tiny.
It is with a heavy heart that I extend to you my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your loved one and my class mate Timothy. There are no words to heal your pain...it's feeling the love, strength and support that will carry you through to brighter days.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths: Proverbs 3:5-6. May God's tender mercy and blessings serve to comfort you during this period of bereavement. In the middle of the turbulance surrounding you, these trying times are so hard to endure...for it's in his hands "This too shall pass". The Father know the tears we cry before they fall, He feels your pain...his heart and yours are one. The Father knows that sorrows heavy chains are strong, but with his strength you'll over come. He takes care of all fragile hearts.
Timothy will always be remembered by those who knew him. Take comfort in knowing that our God is mighty and His arms of comfort and peace surround you. Please accept my condolences and sincerest sympathy.
