Jeannette Nolder Obituary
Born in England, she grew up in Hampton graduating from Phoebus High School in 1984. Jeannette was a member of Central United Methodist Church and had worked for ReMax and Bell Key Properties.
A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, Jeannette is survived by her husband, Donald Nolder; son, Steven Chapman; daughter, Patricia Chapman; parents, Bill and Peggy Sinks; four stepchildren and four grandchildren; sisters, Donna Miller, Bobbie Wilkinson and Shelly Sinks; brothers, Billy Sinks Jr. and Lewis Sinks; and lots of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home by Pastor Donald W. Stuppy. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.

To Jeannetts Family,
I was very saddened to hear of her passing and was touched by the beautiful service. I attended Jr & Sr High with Jeannette and shared several classes with her throughout those years. I will always remember the fun we had in Ms. Burton's class. As well as that laugh and those dimples when she smiled. May god be with you all in this time.

I met Jeannette while employed at Costco. She was a wonderful person and we had sooooo many laughs together. I had the pleasure of meeting her sister and children. She will be sadly missed and happily remembered. My prayers go out to all who love her.

Stephen and Patricia - I had the benefit of knowing your mother since elementary school and her smile never changed. Everytime I saw her from Captain Kidd's to the soccer field she always greeted me, Brittany and Billy with her loving smile and was so happy to see us. Your mother will continue to live through you. Jeanette was such a loving, helpful and happy person. The world has lost her smiles and helpfulness but Heaven has gained a wonderful person. I spoke with Jeanette a few weeks ago since I hadn't seen her driving by the house, honking and waving. She told me that it made her feel good that I thought to call her. I told her that it made me feel good to see her drive by honk, smile and wave. I will miss Jeanette and send my sincere condolences to the entire family. The energy that she had was so positive and it made people happy. Jeanette, continue with your happy soul. To the family, God Bless you and be with you. Know that you will always have a special guardian angel watching over you.
