Deborah Jackson-Griffin Obituary

ROCK HILL, S.C. - On Aug. 20, 2008, Deborah 'Debbie' Jackson-Griffin went to rest with the Lord at Hospice and Community Care of Rock Hill, S.C.
She was born Nov. 13, 1951, to and predeceased by Douglas Jackson Sr. and Agnes Helen Stroman in Cold Spring, N.Y.
She was a long time resident of Poughkeepsie, N.Y. She also resided in Virginia and the Carolinas.
She is survived by four sisters, Dawn Duncan, of White Plains, Md., Lynne Elting, of Charlotte, N.C., Lorraine Walton, of Hampton, Va., and Carla Johnson, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; one brother, Douglas Jackson Jr., of Rock Hill, S.C.; and a host of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at The Norfolk Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1099 Kempsville Road, Norfolk, VA 23502, with Pastor Glenn Holland officiating. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.
