Marion Haynes Obituary

HAMPTON - Marion Carol Haynes died Aug. 25, 2008, after a long illness.
She was a native of McGregor, Texas, and had been a resident of Hampton for the past eight years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Wade Cooper Haynes, and her parents, Lillian and Alexander Zacharias.
She is survived by her two sons and their wives, Andrew and Donna Haynes of Hampton and Scott and Jana Haynes of Austin, Minn.; sisters, Shirley Lassiter and Susan Hord, and one brother, Bob Zacharias, all of Texas; grandchildren, Alexander, Christopher, Rebecca, Natalie and Cooper Haynes; and two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Isaiah Haynes.
Marion served as a nurse in the U.S. Air Force during which time she met and married her husband. She continued her career in Missouri as a Community Health Nurse until which time she had to retire due to illness. In her short time in Hampton, she has made some very lasting friends and will be missed by many.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends are asked to make contributions to the National Arthritis Foundation at arthritis.com.
