Russell Medeiros Obituary
A native of Virginia, Russell was a resident of Louisburg, N.C., where he worked as a framer for a property management company.
Russell is survived by his former wife, Stacie Gribble, and their son, Kameron Gribble; daughter, Anastasia Medeiros, and her mother, Desiree Merilic; mother, Nydia Melanson; sister, Dianna Medeiros; niece, Destiny Medeiros; nephews, Christopher Jackson and Blaire Jackson III; uncle, Bobby Hasty, and his wife, Ginger Blackburn, and their daughter, Heather Blackburn; as well as many other loving relatives and dear friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening at Peninsula Funeral Home. At the family's request, services and burial will be private at a later date.

Russell, I miss you so much but darling i know now you are not hurting no more . but i miss you calling me at 7am in the morning on your way to work, and also our little talks .I wish i could wake up in the morning and hear the phone ring and you on the other end , but i know that not going to happen. today it rain so i guess you are one of GOD; angle pouring out the rain, I just miss you so much. I wish you could help me be strong but all the thing we had to deal with . son this is the hardest thing for me to do I can not let go I love you and missing you so much my heart is so empty now.. I know you are in a better place know and you not in pain any more and mommy is happen for you but i want you home i miss your smile and humor I love you and miss you.

Tito - It is hard to believe you are gone - I will remember many times of making trouble and laughing the whole way. I am sorry we grew apart, but I know that life takes different roads for specific reasons -- we will meet again my brother!! I know you and Geno will be watching over us as we continue on. Keep him laughing -- as you were so good at - I'm sure he's doing the same for you.

It's been forever since we've talked, I wish it didn't have to be this way. Good times & Great times, Bad times & Worse times. We have definately tackled it all! One things for sure, everything we did, we did it better than anyone else could. I have to say, even though you're gone (and in a much better place now), I couldn't forget you If I wanted to.... very few people know about "that night" (Savanahs), but everytime I look in the mirror, "my tooth" will remind me of one of the most memorable nights of my whole life!!! We've had our share of bad moments as well, but who hasn't, right? Well, either way, there's not a person who knew you that wouldn't say you had a smile and personality to brighten anyones day!! To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say. But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay. I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above. Here, there's no more tears of sadness; Here is just eternal love. Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight. Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night. That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through. God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you." "It's good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone. As for your dearest family, They'll be here later on. I need you here so badly, you are part of my plan. There is so much that we can do, to help our mortal man." God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do. And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you. And when you lie in bed at night the day's chores put to flight. God and I are closest to you.... in the middle of the night. When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years. Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears. But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain. Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain. But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is over. I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before. There are rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb; But together we can do it by taking one day at a time. It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too; That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you. If you can help somebody who is in sorrow and pain; Then you can say to God at night...."My day was not in vain. And now I am contented... that my life was worthwhile. Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile." So if you meet somebody who is sad and low; Just lend a hand to pick them up, as on your way you go. Loss of life is never easy. When we lose a good friend this is someone that we have chosen to have in our lives. Someone we loved for who he was. The laughter he brought into the room. The smiles he would bring to our faces. He had a heart of gold and the hug of a bear. And the most contagious smile i have ever seen.
It was an honor to call Tito a good friend.
He was a big part of our selected family and will be deeply missed.

Our thoughts and prays are with you. Tito was very close to my wife and family. We had several years to spend and enjoy wonderful times with him. I trained and manager Tito's boxing career in the nintey's and had the chance to spend time alone with him. He was there for us in a very bad time in our life's when we lost our son Bryan in 1995 Bryan was only 21 years old. And I honesty don't know what we would have done without him. God Bless his soul and there will always be a special place in all of our hearts for him. We are so sorry for your loss.
