Dear Gladys and family,
Mary Lane and I are very sorry to hear about Dee's passing from Leo....he was a very, very special person to me. I had the pleasure of serving with him in Hawaii and met you, Gladys, at several reunions and I know that Mary Lane enjoyed meeting you too. You will be welcome to visit us here in Asheville, of course. With our sincerest regards and sympathy, John and Mary Lane Travis

Dear Gladys: I'm deeply sorry to hear of Dee's passing. Surely, he will now be able to find the perfect boat he was searching for all the time we worked together! I enjoyed his ablity to have a story for every occasion, as well. My love to you and your sons.

Gladys and family: I recieved word of Dee's passing on the prayer chain for Denbigh Prebyterian Church. I am so sorry for your loss Dee was a fine man and we have misssed the both of you since you moved to Fla. I send my Christian love to you and your family and know that your friends at Denbigh Presbyterian Church are keeping all of you in our prayers. Just think Dee is "teeing" off now in heaven where every day is sunny warm and a great day for golf.
