James Fraser Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - James E. "Jim" Fraser, 80, of Williamsburg passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008.
He was born in Mexico, Maine. Mr. Fraser served in the U.S. Army from 1950-1952. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He graduated from Colby College in Maine and The Bentley School of Accounting in Boston, Mass. Upon graduation, he began his career in finance with the General Electric Company. He held various assignments in several GE locations throughout his 34 year career.
Upon his retirement, Mr. Fraser and his wife, Sally moved to Sea Brook Island, S.C. He and Sally were active volunteers while in Sea Brook Island. They moved to Williamsburg one year ago.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and his daughter, Martha.
Mr. Fraser is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sally; five children, Zachary Fraser (Marybeth), Sara Budish (Jon), Matthew Fraser (Patti), Andrew Fraser (Beth) and Gregory Fraser (Julie); and 12 grandchildren.
He will be missed by a host of loving family. Mr. Fraser will be remembered as a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
A memorial mass will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, at St. Bede Catholic Church.
Memorial donations may be made a charity of your choice.
