Dorothy Harvey Obituary
Longtime resident of Newport News, Mrs. Harvey retired from the Daily Press Accounting Department after 23 years of service.
Mrs. Harvey was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Donald L. Harvey and his wife, Rebecca of Norfolk, and Michael R. Harvey; and one grandson, Donald L. Harvey Jr. of Ft. Meade, Md.
A private service was held in Peninsula Memorial Park.

Just learned of your mother's death. Please know you are in my prayers. I worked with her at the Daily Press from 1966-1968.

I am so sorry about your mother. When I saw you recently in Farm Fresh, I was unaware of her death.
My prayers are with you and yours. She must have been a wonderful person to have raised such a fine man and teacher.

Dear Donald, Michael and Family,

I lived next door to your parents from 1978 to 1987. They were the best of neighbors.
