Monica Freeman Obituary
She was born Oct. 7, 1966, in Newport News, Va. She was a graduate of Norfolk State University and Old Dominion University. Monica attended Central Chapel AME Church in Yellow Springs.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Gloria (Phillips) and John Pamplin; father, Calvin Freeman; one brother, John Pamplin II; aunt, Cora (Tyrone, Sr.) Callis; three cousins, Kimya, Katina, and Tyrone Jr. Callis; and numerous other relatives.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Herman and Sarah Phillips; paternal grandparents, Robert and Lillian Freeman.
