Lucille Mills Obituary
She was born Nov. 27, 1923, in Stokes, N.C., to the late Clarence and Sarah Daniels.
She retired from Hampton Institute in the environmental services.
She was preceded in death by her husband Braveitte W. Mills.
She leaves to cherish precious memories one daughters, Rose Mills of Hampton; one granddaughter, Lavada Harris (Yaphet) of Newport News; three great-grandsons, Elias Mills, Jayson Harris and Amara Harris of Newport News; one sister, Mrs. Edna Hockaday of Newport News; one brother, William Daniels of Newport News; six special nieces, three special nephews; three special friends, Velma, Blanche and Carol.
Funeral services will be held noon Thursday at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel, 1601-27th St., NN,VA 23607, with Minister Lillie Moore, officiating.
Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
