Dearest Lou Morris Lloyd Orville Morris II & Leigh,
I first met your lovely Mother at the Pool side Beach House back door @ James River Country Club.. Circa 1969 / 1970. It was shortly after the famed "Ketchup Cowboy Incident" as the tale was later told. A bodacious blast of Killer Ketch-up & a gracious plenty Matching Mustard coating was applied to "water pistol packin' Lou" as he breached the service counter ledge. The visit of Ms. Morris & "Uncle Bob" Miller was not the visit a young burger flipper & ace Ketch-up marksman looked forward to... Yet the visit resulted in a new and dear friendship with the Morris Clan. I am so sorry for your family loss. Her memory and that of a ketchup coated screaming Lou dashing toward the horrified pool scene of moms will always be near & dear to me & the life guard on duty that day, Mitch Avent. I am and will always be your friend & beach shack burger / fry guy..
Sincerely with love, Garnett Knabe.

I met Westa when I first came to the area in 1983. She was kind, very interested in local history and gave me many a history lesson about the area and the community. She was full of wit and wisdom.

My thought and prayers go out to the family. As a prior employee at Urology of Virginia, I would love to sit and talk with Westa while she waited for her Doctor. She was truly a one of a find lady. She always had a story to tell. I especially loved her hats.
