Mr. Hoitsma was my math teacher and squash coach at Andover in the late 70's. I remember him as a very warm and caring person, who made my days at Andover much brighter. I am sorry for your loss. I hope my teenage children will have teachers as meaningful to them as Mr. Hoitsma was to me. My deepest sympathies.

Dear Audrey and Family,
Jack and I were so sorry to know of Lou's passing. We always enjoyed talking with him at church and at Christopher Wren classes. Please know we have you in our thoughts and prayers.

Lou was the first person to welcome me to Williamsburg when I moved here. He was the dearest person, and I will miss him. My heart goes out to Audrey and the rest of her family.
