Mike is a great guy and he will truely be missed by many. In the past, he's given me so much personal attention and help whenever I needed it... you never had to ask for his help b/c he would always offer. To Colleen, I deeply feel for you and my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Mike was an awesome soul on this earth that was taken too soon. I guess God needed his Dodge fixed by the best mechanic out there. Dr. Dakota will be missed by many. He was a friend, mentor, and a brother to many in the Mopar community. Rest in peace my friend. Colleen, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

I have known Mike for 15 years, always coming in with a smile, always somehow making your day a little better. He was almost a daily visitor to Tidewater Fleet Supply in Hampton, a friend, and to some of us almost like a brother. Whatever the conversation, he always made you feel at ease and you knew Mike was a friend you could count on. He will be missed by many. Colleen and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I grew up with Mike. He was a good person then and it is apparent he stayed that way through out his life.
God bless Mike on his new journey and bless his family through this time of great loss. I am sure this earth has lost a devoted careing and understanding soul. However, heaven has aquired our loss of him and set the stage for him to take a even better space with God and the angles,He will fit right in upstairs.
God bless all of Mikes family and friends and may the memories of Mike always stay close with you, in your mind, heart and souls.

Mike was a mentor to many and a friend to all. He will be missed tremendously by all that had the honor to know him. My husband & I met Mike & Colleen at a truck meet several years ago, they became fast friends as both wonderful people! Mike was always giving far more than he ever received in his time, knowledge and friendship. Colleen our thoughts and prayers are with you and Mikes family.

When the Lord calls our loved ones home he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. Hold on to your memories, and let them guide you during this time of sadness.
When Mike came to work at Cochran Construction in 1992 we formed a fast friendship, he was always willing to help out with anything I needed if it were fixing a vehicle, getting office supplies or anything he was there. He always had a smile, we enjoyed sharing stories with each other about our chihuahuas and talking Nascar. Every day he would greet me in the morining and bid me good-bye every evening. In 2006 when life dealt us some unfortunate blows, Mike was an encourager telling me that everything would work out for us, and blessings to the Lord it did, he joined the team at Morris Landscaping and I moved three blocks down to P & W Electric, even though we did not see each on a daily basis, we still stayed in touch and he would pop-in to check on how things were at my end of the street. I will miss Mike tremendously. It is a comforting thought to know he is reunited with "Granny".
Colleen you and the family are in our thoughts and prayers.

A friend, a brother, a Dad to many. Hampton Roads has lost a Master Mechanic and a very loving, kind soul. He loved his wife and his Dodge trucks. You will be missed so much Dr. Dakota. We love you.

Mike was a wonderful friend and neighbor, he was like "Mr. Wilson" when we lived next door to him and Colleen. We would stand and talk for hours, at least until the mosquitos would run us in, at least Colleen and I. Somehow Mike and Steve would always stay alittle longer, they enjoyed each others company so much. It was difficult when we moved because we left behind two of the best neighbors anyone could have. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Colleen. Love Steve and Donna
