Terri, Vicki and family,
Please accept my deepest sorrow and sympathy during your time of grief. Visiting with you and Connie during her illness brought back many fond memories of her indelible humor and love of life. She truly embodied courage and grace! Her words of wisdom that she shared will stay with me forever! The following was shared with me during my darkest days after losing my brother, Billy. I hope these words bring you comfort as it brought me: 2 Corinthians 4:8 "We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed and broken. We are perplexed, but we do not give up and quit. We are hunted down, but GOD never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going."-The Book

Vicki,
I am so sorry to hear about your Mom - I know how close you both were. I remember seeing her sometimes when you & I worked in the pass office together and she was always so very nice. I lost my Dad (very suddenly & unexpectedly) in February so my heart really goes out to you and your sister because I know how much it hurts. If there's anything I can do or if you want to talk give me a call. I miss you and I'm thinking about you

We are mourning for Connie all over the world. I was so sad when I heard this news. Behind her tough exterior, Connie had one of the warmest hearts ever. I'll never forget how she used to lecture us, Vicki, when we were young and wild. Now I realize that she was always right!! She loved her family so much. Know that I am thinking of you during this difficult time. I'll never forget Connie's great smile or laugh.

Vicki,Terri,Juanita & Family,
I met Connie at the shipyard she was the communications center operator for so many years.
She was one the best . I became friends with her and Don Ford. I have been to many shipyard Christmas parties and shipyard retirement parties with her and Don.
Many days i call Connie at the communications center and we just talked and laugh about everything.
I always tried to sit next to Connie at the Christmas and retirement parties we always had so much fun. Connie was such a strong person and has been through so much pain and suffering.
I have not met Connie's family, but Connie could not have had a better friend than Don Ford.
My prayers are with you and your family .
We will always love Connie and miss her.

Dear Vicki and family...I am so sorry to hear about Connie's passing. Connie is one of those soul's who is larger than life! Once you meet that lady, you never forget her. I have no doubt she is rockin' and rollin' upstairs! She could poke fun at ya', but never make you feel bad about yourself. She could get along with just about anyone, yet will fiercly protect her own. I will always remember her and only hope I can be as tough as she was in the face of challenge. My thoughts are with you and the memory of Connie.

Momma was like Ew Terri how can you eat that? That's gross! I will never forget her! I have so many memories most of them include all of you. Almost 3 decades we have known each other.Times were tough for all of us but we all knew how to get through it.She was one of the strongest and strong minded women I have ever met. I love you guys now as I always have and I wish I could make the hurt, pain and sadness go away for all of you!!!!! If you need anything I am just around the corner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To the Cheshire Family,

We were deeply saddened to hear of Connie's passing. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers during your time of sorrow. Cancer has taken Connie from this earth but the cancer cannot take our memories of her, our love for her nor can it silence the courage that Connie had for so many years with the pain that she endured. Connie's memory will be kept in our hearts as we remember her long, brave fight, her quick smile and her forgiving heart.

May God keep and bless your family during your grief and may your memories keep you strong.
