Anne Worstell Obituary
Anne Hart Worstell, 75, entered into eternal rest on Monday, Sept. 15, 2008. She was born in Fairmont, W.Va., and raised in Clarksburg, W.Va., the only child of the late James Hart and Helen L. Hart. She later attended Marshall College and West Virginia University.
Anne loved the game of bridge and spending time with her family and friends. Family reunions at the beach or in Williamsburg were always special. She was a very loving and giving person, and spent many hours volunteering for her church and Hospice House of Williamsburg. Anne will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Anne is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jerry; and by their three children, Dan Worstell and wife, Tammy and children, Derek and Drew of Williamsburg; Dave Worstell and wife, Deborah of Williamsburg; and Connie Waters and husband, Mike and children, Stuart, Lee and Eliza of Doylestown, Pa.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 19, 2008, at Nelsen Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration and remembrance of her life at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Williamsburg United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Williamsburg United Methodist Church, 500 Jamestown Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23185.
